High-Frequency Receiver Function Technique from Dense Seismic Array

Shallow Subsurface Structure Beneath the Northern Longitudinal Valley in Eastern Taiwan Using the High-Frequency Receiver Function from A Dense Seismic Array Data Set

  1. It is feasible to apply the high-frequency receiver function technique to dense ZLAND seismic array data to obtain the location of the main interfaces and the shallow structure.

  2. The thickness of the alluvium in the region could reach to the depth of approximately 200~300 meters.

  3. The distribution of the alluvium is matched with the old river channels of Mugua River and Hualien River.
